Sawllkwa / Water Robes
Borrow: Hand-dyed blue fabric robes in watery shades.
Description: The robes were made during a community workshop series that happened from 2009-2010 called Reflection where participants contemplated becoming water through fabric dying, dance, music, ceramics, printmaking and more.
The robes are a simple and quick way to create a large image of water and are designed to slip over clothes, fitting most.
Pre-Requisites: The desire to explore being water.
Options: You can book an artist from Runaway Moon Theatre to come and give a mini workshop on how to hand dye fabric and/or theatrical ways to explore water. The robes can be delivered within the region or picked up at Runaway Moon Theatre. Send us an email (form below) to inquire and learn more!
